Pictures are from 4 new intros not yet listed in the AHS data base
I have been testing them in my Z4b/Z5a, NE, WI garden

Sherman Flowers, "Venus Envy"
Venus Envy (Flowers, 2013)[details withheld until publication in 2014] tet, mid season, 5.75 x 28, 3/4 way branching, 20+ buds, easy fertility both ways, This is a 2013 registered plant from Sherm Flowers, I've been growing this since 2007, very good!
Stats are from my garden

This is Anna's discription
Anna Carlson, "RavenCroft Blazing Heart"
RavenCroft Blazing Heart (Anna Carson, 2013) Hgt: 36",Bloom size 5", BR 3 way with terminal W, BC 30, Mid Season, Rebloom, Diurnal,
TET, hot, molten orange self, with darker red-orange eye, over a deep yellow throat, The vigor is astounding on this beauty. It is an incredible pod setter, with excellent pollen as well.

Nate Bremer, "Something In My Teeth"
From Nate's Web site

Something in My Teeth. Bremer. 2014. Dormant. 26"-5". 3-4 branches. 25 buds. ML. We are proud to release one of our most anticipated toothed cultivars to date. SIMT is has a melon base color with a dark coral-red overlay on the petals and a large melon edge of teeth. The overlay darkens just as the edge begins. An olive green throat is surrounded by a brighter gold area. The plant is very consistent for tooth production and has proven itself in a number of other gardens. SIMT is fertile both ways and is getting used heavily in a number of hybridizing programs. Truly outstanding and easily competes with the best toothed cultivars (SIMT is also hardy as heck). (Wedding in the Snow x Orange Angel).

Ed Burton, "Appleton Sweet Start"
Pending Appleton Sweet Start (Ode To Faith X Spacecoast Starburst) dor, tet, E/M 3/4 way branching 20+buds, 5 x 28, easy fertility both ways

Hi Debra
I like it too.
I had a discussion early this past summer with Anna, told her it was time, she agreed.
She will probably have some for sale if you want me to get in touch with her

'Something in My Teeth' has that something.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

"Something In MY Teeth" is one of the best I've seen in northern hardy, maybe the best.
I'm spreading the pollen on everything, I also listed a bunch of seeds on the auction, the genetics need to get out. <Nate agreed with me< Awesome daylily for the north

Ed, the only reason I can is that I am now on a low, fixed income. It's daylilies or the electric bill (or food or...). Frequently, especially after seeing some of the postings on ATP, there is a deep, internal debate on which way to go, but, so far, the utility companies are winning. It always amazes me that with these polar temps.we are experiencing right now, I can still germinate and grow my seeds successfully. A lot of credit goes to my bio-dome system. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Thank-you, Vicki. That's very kind of you. I tip my hat to you. Perhaps, If this terms out to be a sensational daylily, Ed and I can register this one together. But that's way down the line, and who knows what this daylily will look like when it finally blooms for me. I really love this combo too. Drooling Thumbs up

Here's a look at the other cross I purchased from Ed.

(New Tangerine Twist X Wild Child)Is from a separate plant, one of three gift plants that Ed is trying out in his garden. That's why it has a different look from the plant in my previous post even tho its the same cross.
