My greenhouse is quite large and im at a loss for landscaping around it. It seems to obnoxiously stand-out in my yard. Anxious for tips/ideas from ATP members!

prairiegirl, Our GH stuck out at first, by adding the brick walk and small patio in front of the doors tied it to the garden. I then did a basic foundation planting.

I added a dwarf boxwood (that will be kept formally clipped) on either side of the patio, and have planted all season perennials around them. I have early tulips, Stella de Oro day lily, Gaillardia blanket flower 'Fanfare'. Planting a border along the walkway also help it looked like a destination rather than a bump in the garden. I finish the job with a large container planting on the patio corners.

I can't WAIT to landscape to show off my greenhouse! Of course, it has to be built first. But I plan on growing a vine on the inside and let it grow, controlled all through the supports. I plan to use the GH for winter protection so whatever sunshine it blocks won't matter. I hope the vine inside and whatever fun creativity I can do on the outside will show off my little slice of Heaven.

I have some Hyacinth Vine seeds that are too prolific to be grown so close to the forest. I want to grow some and I can contain it in the greenhouse. I don't get enough bright sun for most flowering vines so I will just see how these do Does Lady Margaret need full sun@Txtea?? I imagine in your area of TX you are not lacking for sunshine. btw, we used to live in El Paso many years ago. We rode horses and ate in Fabens at that big steak restaurant, Cattleman's a lot.

I love Hyacinth Vine and grow it on the Arbor near our GH. At a local Flower Show I saw a (new to me) Bleeding Heart Vine.

Cheryl, I have lived here all my life, have eaten at Cattleman's many a time very good steaks. So if you lived in El Paso you are very aware oh the sunshine and heat here. An the lack of water now days. Good luck with Hyacinth vines, I have never raised any. Holly that Bleeding Heart Vine is beautiful.

I have a small city yard so this may not work for your set up.
The GH is about 1.5 feet from the fence so I can stain/maintain the fence
I have a dogwood shrub on the shady side (shade from the fence mostly) & my swing
I have tomatoes in a self watering box, similar to an "Earthbox"
I have container collections in the front. I do have landscape fabric under the gravel in the GH, under the container beds and in the bed with the dogwood. Basically under and all around the GH

This is what I did with the "landscaping" adjacent to my two greenhouses. The plants are Euonymus 'Manhatten' and they were grown from cuttings off plants that bracket my equipment shed. Euonymus 'Manhatten' is a really great plant, growing slowly and thus not needing frequents "hair-cuts", grows in almost any soil, is hardy, and is evergreen. The needles are small and soft, with no pointy tips.

I wrapped both of the GH's with Solar Blanket material, not knowing how a severely cold winter we would have. I am glad I did. I don't think my electric heaters (thee in each GH, one being a backup on another circuit in case the circuit carrying the other two tripped) would have been able to maintain the 60 F I wanted for my tropical plants.
