Thread OP

I hope this turns out to be an interesting thread and I hope it turns out loaded with beautiful ~pictures~ !

Just list the top five daylilies you're dying to have.

All the daylilies on my list exceed my usual budget but I haven't given up hope.

It was hard to choose just five!

I'm trying to introduce more reds and bolder mixed patterns.

These are the ones I'll be scouting for this year, trouble is, I wind up buying a bunch of others while on my hunting expeditions! (Oh look -puppy!) lol

I only *wish* I had pictures of my own to provide of the ones below! ;)

Breakfast With Santa
Big Red Wagon
Colorflash
Magnificent Magpie
Walter Kennedy

These are the five I'm dying to receive and see bloom. I bought them all on the Lily Auction on snowy winter days. These are all hybridizer's photos.

Debra, that's a nice group you have coming. Be very careful with Diamond Cutter. Look like it will cut you in half. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Awesome!

Betty, you chose some I would also, give my eye teeth for!

I'm collecting a few with teeth for later hybridizing -just to see, for myself, how hard it is to get the right 'look' out of a seedling.

Last year, I did crosses of dark eyes & bold patterns; this year I'm focusing on rich reds and burgundies; next year, I think it's going to be teeth & unusual edges.

I love these plants -there are just so many possibilities! ;)

Glen, that's strange. Never seen that before. Perhaps ATP admin may enlighten us on the cause.

Mike, I don't have any idea why she removed her posts. Shrug! Dave moved one of her other threads to the Sandbox because it no longer made sense without her posts. She seems to have removed every post that she made on ATP.

Pretty daylilies posted above! This is going to sound odd, but I don't really have a want list anymore. I would have to get rid of one to get a new one, and I am down to the ones I just don't want to get rid of. Lovey dubby

Same here, I need to get rid of some to buy others. Hopefully I can do that when my daughter gets married in June. She wants some daylilies for her yard and I will be more than happy to give her some. Hurray! Hurray!

So, that way Cindy, you can still enjoy your shared flowers.
Great for both of you.

I shared about 70+ with a friend who is so happy to get them,
and I can still enjoy seeing them too. Needed to make room
for newer arrivals and oh my goodness, too many seedlings
to be planted this year.

Edited to Add: I don't have any more on my list for spring.
