Here are my two "baby" seedlings, germinated in late December, 2014. One has five leaves and one has seven leafs and they are approximately 6-8" tall. The seven-leaf one germinated about a week before the five leaf one.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

They are looking good; I recommend a larger pot at this point. They love to grow when given the space.

OK, what size, Hetty? They are in 4" clay pots. Thanks.

I'd get them in a 3 gal plastic - or in the ground!

No ground. It is going to be in the upper 30's in the morning and at/near freezing Wednesday morning.

I would be the last to give you advice, Sandy. These are the first I have ever germinated and am still accumulating advice on the best way to germinate the others that I have. I plan on germinating half next month and the other half in June. I perhaps have 20-30 seeds, and they are 5 different varieties. Right now my thinking is to germinate them in 2-3 completely different ways, ways that were successful for others. I will be glad to give you my results if you like. Just send me a Tree-Mail or email me directly at [email protected] so that I will have a reminder.
