Yes, Tagetes lucida is part of the Marigold family. The leaves have a sweet licorice/anise scent. It's a good plant to attract ladybugs to your garden. Smiling

I add fresh tarragon or even dried if I don't have fresh to my rice as it is cooking. It gives it a lovely fragrance and flavor. I don't use much.
