Betty, I have scapes forming on new plants of
Tet. Peppermint Delight, Polar Dusk, and Cosmic Adventure,
but I don't expect them to look as they should after traveling
through the mail. At least I can verify that they are the correct
plant. Maybe they will bloom again with the better blooms.

Your Tet. Peppermint Delight looks very pretty. I love the eye design,
and it looks like a large blossom.

None of the plants I really want to see are blooming yet.

Any of the packaged plants from Walmart have not been what was shown on the package, yet. (Yeh, I know...that was before I found the Lily Auction site...)

So everything blooming here now is gold or yellow.

Very pretty Betty, Pat and Tink! It's going to be awhile before there are any images from here. I was trying to get a dandelion root out while cleaning a seedling bed today... the ground is still frozen 4 - 6 inches below.

Whooooppieee. Go blooms go.

tink3472,
I had to look it up to see what color it should be, and it was one of your photos in the data base.

Good to see first blooms from close by.

Nice ones, all!

None of mine even have scapes yet, so I'm thinking it will be at least the first week (or second) of June before I see a bloom.

Beautiful first blooms everyone! OMG this is going to be so exciting, and I am so glad that I joined in! I have several scapes but no blooms yet. There's nothing more exciting that that first bloom. I'll defintely send a pic when I have one to share.

Keep those blooms a'coming!

This was blooming this afternoon when I came home....I think it might be NIGHT BEACON, or whatever I had purchased as NIGHT BEACON years ago...big box stores don't always get the names correct and the older daylilies are blooming over a month early this year.
The color is more burgandy than rose showing in the photo and the flower is 6" diameter.

Thus far the ones that have bloomed are HAPPY RETURNS, STELLA 'D ORO, ROCKET CITY and another Orange-Gold Unknown with 6 1/2" flower.
ACROSS THE GALAXY is budding up as are some others.
I'm REALLY anxious to see flowers on the newer daylilies I got this year!

I bought Night Beacon, in those little packs at Walmart I grew it in the cold frame though out the winter, it has a tiny little scape on it now. So I'll compare mine with yours! I am expecting a very tiny bloom this first time, if it even develops.

Yes, that looks like Night Beacon, very pretty. But, with a 4.5 rust resistance rating I might prefer Xenacrockett's version.

So far no rust on it here, but my Winters seem to be enough to keep it in check if not dead. I'm pretty sure after this Winter any rust that might have been trying to stay here has been frozen to death like everything else Hilarious! Of course where you are down south Rust is a big worry, so i can't blame ya for being concerned about it's rating.

I've also had a few scattered blooms on 'One Fine Day', 'Magical Indeed', 'Polly Wolly Doodle', and 'Raspberry Banana Cheesecake', but our nights are still too cool for them to really open well.
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
