Here are my newbies. I moved to a new home and many of my old ones didn't survive the move with this awful past winter, so I decided to go big and buy a bunch of new ones. (I ordered from eight different places, so I'm hoping to get a lot of nice bonus daylilies as well!)

Hi Anna!
I see you are in Cincinnati ( just over the river from me!)

Are you a member of the Greater Cincinnati Daylily and Hosta society??
If not, consider joining! I have not been as active this last year as my kids have kept me hopping, but the group is friendly, does a great Daylily show at Northgate mall, sells daylilies, and has a plant exchange at the end of the summer.

That "Black Plush" looks a lot like what is called "Night Beacon" here.
Rocket City is going crazy in my yard this year.
I'm going to have to plow the back 40 to make room for them all!

Since I gave been away from the daylily game for awhile, I'm mostly replacing lost plants. The 2 that are totally new are Bandito Rojo and Buddy's Wild And Wonderful.
So the replacement Munsons are
Alvatine Taylor Yates
Rainbow Gold Star
June McKinney Williams
Violet Sunrise
plus I did a primo Munson trade with Cheryl Day of Cheryl's Daylilies.

Spider/Ufs
Carrick Wildon
Curly Brick Road
Free Wheelin
Fun Fling
Katherine Harris
Kirsten's Corsage
Oklahoma Kicking Bird
Rosy Lights
Wild Wookie

I've found another source for more UFs, I can feel myself back on the slippery slope. Blinking
PS Anna I'm not a doubles lover but Peggy Jeffcoat is magnifico!

@ cats1: "Painted Pattern" is my favorite of your bunch. Kind of reminds me of "Vulcan Logic", a daylily on my to-buy list.

@ Xenacrockett: Yeah, I see the similarity. "Black Plush" looks like a spider version of "Night Beacon". It sounds like your "Rocket City" is trying to populate an actual city! "Bela Legosi" was one I considered this year as well, but I never got around to making up my mind between that and "Nosferatu".

@ Growgirl: Love "Venus's Fire"!!!

@ Cat: Which two sellers are you buying from this year? Let us know if you get good bonuses! Your "Worlds Collide" also reminds me of "Vulcan Logic".

@ Hemlady: "Wonder of It All" looks gorgeous!!! "Dragonfly Dawn" looks interesting as well.

@ Kabby: Sorry you lost your plants. Was it the Winter From Hell that did them in? And yes, Peggy Jeffcoat DOES look awesome, I can't wait to get it!

Drooling Drooling Hope she hurries up and ships before I spend more Sticking tongue out I also bought from Mthrnatur on the LA. That is Randy Griffin of Pendergriff South. He only sells on the LA. Just in case you weren't familiar with either.

More than any sane person who professes to be "cutting back" should! I attended three fall Regional meetings last year, and that was my undoing.
From Tim Herrington:
AWED BY CLAUDE
GREEN GONDOLA
FLYING MONKEYS

From Heidi and Charles Douglas:
DATING A ROYAL
DANCE WITH SOMEBODY

From Bret Clement:
ANTHRAZOID LEMONADE
IN WALKED BUD

From Karol Emmerich:
ALL THINGS TO ALL MEN

From Michael Miller :
SMALL WORLD LOVE BUG

from Judy Davisson:
PRINCESS SYNDROME
ROYAL GIRLS

From Tink ( Michelle) on the LA:
BARBARA MANDRELL
LITTLE NIGHT JEWEL

From LA:
COOL RUNNINGS
BLUE RACER
SUPERSTITIOUS

Don't ask me how many more I still need to dig up and move out in order to make room for these. This is a sickness!! I probably forgot a couple anyway.
At least, I'm not still ordering entire collections as I did back in the earlier days.

Anna no, although this was the coldest winter we've had in yrs, I just up and stopped gardening. So there's 4 yrs of neglect that I'm trying to overcome. I'm downsizing(kind of like floota cutting back above Whistling ) trying to incorporate more companion planting.
It's been fun, I'm glad I'm back in the game! Hurray!

I'm waiting for JUDY FARQUHAR (2nd pic)

After I ordered it, I realized she looks a little like ACROSS THE GALAXY which I just got this year and is now getting ready to bloom.(1st pic)

Guess I really like that look.
