My hosta has a leaf that does not match the rest. Is this reverting? Or is it a sport?

Most likely, it is a sport. Reverting almost never happens.
It could also be an unstable form.

It was a very small plant but has not done this before, just riddled with slug holes. I do not like the leave, can I dig it up and cut the leaf off or separate it. I am upset, it is finally pretty enough to take a picture of and there is this stupid leaf. LOL. Like I said it always gets eaten by slugs.

I'd probably just clip that leaf off short and not dig the entire plant.

In my humble opinion I would think that leaf is coming from an increase that will continue to grow. Removing the leaf will not help. I would dig down into the soil a little in the area where the offending leaf is coming and then cut the area out with a sharp knife. If not the all green increase will take over.

I think 'Allegan Fog' has a bit of instability. I've never had a leaf quite as green as yours (and they haven't yet broken ground here), but I have had a few leaves that are tending toward more green. You can see some of the leaves at the edges.

Thanks everyone! I will remove the possible eye or whatever the leaf is connected to. I definitely do not want it to revert or go green. I do not have many of these streaked ones but, Allegan Fog I could not resist. LOL. Ann, I love yours and it looks great as long as they stay variegated and blend in with the plant.

My Sagae has a solid colored leaf that I'm going to assume will die off when it turns white later in the summer. It's pretty now, but I don't think it has enough color in it to survive.

Well that Sagae leaf is interesting.... Never had one of mine do that. Have had some sport out in to a solid green... but not yellow or cream. And i usually dig them up and try to separate out the sporting like @Paul2032 said!!
