May I ask how long you've been growing it in your garden? Do you know the parentage? Have you lined it out to see how it does when divided? (some die off). Sorry so many questions!

Oh....I'm with you, when we bloom our seedlings we can be anxious to register a plant. I've talked with/written about several hybridizers who have spoken at my local club (www.dssew.org) and most of them indicate that a plant should be grown a minimum of five years to see how it performs. Especially if you divide it, you want to see if it will survive. I'd try and be patient and line it out to see how it does before registering. Did you hybridize this one yourself or did you purchase seeds? As a side note, blooms can vary within the first few years, if you've had it only a couple years it may possibly look different next season. I'm no expert hybridizer but I've got the itch to register something too, I am just making myself hold off due to some of the criteria I've mentioned.
