My beloved cat of 20 years just passed away. She is buried in our flower garden, along with my Australian Shepard dog. When my dog passed away several years ago, I planted a Gentle Shepard Daylily on his grave. Now with the passing of my cat, I want to plant a Daylily with a fitting name for her on her grave. I'm having a hard time finding anything on the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is a lovely daylily.

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where to purchase the Precious Kitty daylily? I cannot find any sellers online. Now may be the wrong time to purchase? I am planning to call the local greenhouses but I have a feeling no one will have it available.

It's a Shooter daylily so you can get it at Marietta gardens. I tip my hat to you.

Very sorry to hear about your cat.

Not knowing any specifics about the cat other that it was a she, have you tried to search the AHS database? http://www.daylilies.org/Dayli...

I typed in both "cat" and "kitty" and looked for them at the beginning and end of the name. It came up with several, but Precious Kitty and Cat Dancer looked like the best ones. But you may see something that fits. For instance, there are daylilies named Calico Cat, Black Cat, and Cool Cat.

There's also "Two Cats Dreaming". I also lost my baby kitty Serenity this year. She was two months shy of turning fifteen.

It's horrible. I want my Serenity back so much and feel guilty for not being able to save her. Cancer is horrible, and she's the second adult cat I've had in my lifetime that died from it. I still have Lacey (my user pic) and Scamp and I love them bunches, but Serenity and I were together for almost fifteen years.
