Have been a plant lover all my life
It`s me Billy Perez,
I am really going nuts. I started putting my plants in my bed four days ago. There was not to be any rain, and I was planning on building some kind of cover for the bed. Well the last three days we have had rain, so that means that the soil is wet.
Do you think I need to take all my plants out ? I tell you these keep me worrying. But I want to have them and live..
Thank you all again for you help.
Billy Perez

They're extremely tough plants that can stand a week of rain here. They can't take standing water, if that's the situation. (That said, they are not generally grown in tropical or semitropical climates, being temperate zone alpines. Aeonium and other tender succulents usually take their place.)

If you have any gravel, try putting the gravel around the base of the plant. I did lose a few when we had a 4" rain the week I was gone.
And, by the way, stop hogging all the rain! We need some here in Kansas! Sticking tongue out
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.

I wish I could, I am waiting right now to go to Lowes to get a few things I forgot last night. I have come up with a cover where I will be able to keep most of the rain, and give them shade in the afternoon. They get sun, till around 3:30. the the house takes over.
Thank you so much.
Once I am done I will send pictures..
