I have very few of the really narrow spiders, like 'Kindly Light' - ratio of 7.7:1. What would be the very best of the Kindly Light equivalents, as I am planning to add some more spiders, and maybe more doubles for next year. One spider I have that I really like is 'Boogie My Woogie Baby' but it is nowhere near as narrow as Kindly Light. Thanks for any suggestions!

Thanks Kim, Some really beautiful suggestions! But if I stick to my goal of getting more of the really narrow ones they're too wide. French Twist is a lot like my Boogie My Woogie Baby. Dances with Giraffes is one I know I would really like and have been thinking about it... it is classified as Ufo Cascade. But 'Emmaus',
wow! I'm going to have to get that for next year!

Lisa Thanks for the suggestions. Aldersgate is certainly narrow, but it would have to be winter hardy for z4. The other 3 I will have to look for photos. I can't
look before I finish this as I discovered I lose what I've written if I leave the page!

You really might want to contact Steve Horan in Woodbury ( Horan's Daylily Garden) , Kyle Billadeau in Chaska ( Turtle Rock Garden) and Kathy Lamb ( Loon Song Garden), all of whom live in Minneapolis suburbs I have personally visited their gardens several times. All of them have AHS Display Gardens and their contact information is listed on the AHS website. They all grow spiders and Unusual forms and would be really great resources as to which plants would be hardy in your climate. Kyle and Steve grow some of Jim Murphy and Margo Reed's daylilies, Kathy grows quite a few of Dottie Warrell's and also hybridizes spiders and Unusual forms. I think they all sell from time to time also.
