I just tried to upload a photo to the plant database. I got the page with the green button to click to upload a photo, but clicking on it did nothing (as though it did not see/register the click). I opened another tab, linked to the site, and tried again - nothing.

This was in the Chrome browser.

I opened a window in Microsoft Explorer and repeated the attempt. I was asked for my name and login, and once supplied, the site sent me to the page with the upload photo button. This time, clicking on the button allowed me to proceed and upload the photo.

??? Confused
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

Have you recently added any add-ons to your chrome?

This is exactly the problem I've been having -- when I want to upload a photo I have to use IE instead of Chrome. (On Facebook, though, I can upload a photo when I'm in Chrome.) And, weirdly, after this started happening there was a brief period where I WAS able to add a photo when I was in Chrome, and then it stopped working again.

That's really strange. I use Chrome and haven't had a problem. I will continue to investigate but if I can't replicate the problem I don't know how I can fix it. Sad

No, I don't know how you possibly could either, Dave!! I'm just happy that I can work around the problem by switching to IE Smiling

Yes, but switching to IE.... that just feels wrong. I'm definitely going to look further into this.

Rolling on the floor laughing yes, but sometimes we just do what we have to do!! Shrug!

It seems like every time Windows updates something on my computer gets screwed up anymore... I need to do a system restore back to Win 3.1 !! or DOS... Big Grin
