I have never seen one this color. Perhaps the camera intensified the lovely blue color.

It is that color.......TuTu Turquoise.....The picture was taken in the morning light so the color is correct, Turquoise, but perhaps a little dark. It hasn't been duplicated.

It is a Paul Black iris introduced in 1989. I grew it for a number of years and gave a start to a neighbor. She passed away a couple of years ago and I noticed it blooming in her garden one spring. I no longer had it so went a rescued a piece. Glad I did.

I am having somewhat more luck with bearded iris so will try to find it. Some work up here and some don't. Thanks for the info.

I found it but the silly nursery says that 'due to shipping regulations' they don't ship outside the continental US. Strange that since all the other growers sure do. Oh well. Not a big thing.
