Cant find the thread that was talking about frogs so I will just post this here. It is about frogs in Alaska that freeze solid and thaw out in the spring.

Very impressive. I've heard about freezing frogs, but this really takes the cake.

I was pretty impressed also. Apparently there are some turtles, though not here, that can do the same for short periods of above zero temps.

I remember seeing the freezing frogs on Nat Geo a while back. They showed a time lapse video of it.

It's not just Alaska, I know they are well known in New York! Bullfrogs and Green Frogs hibernate under the mud too.
