Ya'll are too funny.

Well, I went to Home Depot today to get some potting soil and look what I found just waiting for me to take them home. They had some for 3.98 , but these were smaller versions of the large ones, for 2.39 each. I just picked up the saucer so I could have something to bring them home in. But they are individual plants, not a grouping.

I know many of you have what is called tender succulents. These plants may survive a short period of cold under the right conditions. As a rule, if you live in an area that gets freezing weather, you need to bring them indoors before your first frost.
Watching to see what you have and how you grow them.

Echeveria Black Prince

This one was so easy to take through the winter indoors. I just put it in a window with bright lite and cool temps. Once danger of frost is over I put it outdoors.

Crassula arborescens Silver Dollar Jade

Catlin did okay over the winter indoors. Again I put it in a cool, bright window. It is now multi-branched. I need to repot it and put it outdoors now.

I will have to take an updated photo of this one. It just do okay indoors over winter, it really grew. Very easy and a good grower for me.

Look at how much this succulent grew over the winter. The photo on left is when I bought it in one of those tiny 2" posts. Photo on right is 4" across. It loves being outdoors during summer, but never slowed down when it came indoors for winter.

Another yard sale find along with the saucer under it. I'm sure I didn't pay any more than 25¢.

This one is actually marginally hardy here in my zone 8. It has made it through two winters now. I love the texture and color of it.
