Yes, you can click on the daylilies database and then click on search by characteristics.
You can search by color, hybridizer and size just to name a few.

AHA! I would never have clicked on characteristics looking for a hybridizer. Thanks!

Kabby, thanks for adding the Munson pics! I am an admirer of Munson plants. I don't have many, but would like to add a few more. One that I know I like but cannot seem to find is INCA PRINCE. So many of his were purples, but he had some very nice ones in other colors. Do you grow many yourself?

@bluegrassmom
Teresa I have downsized from 1200 total to about 350 daylilies (this is Munsons and Spider/Ufs combined). I haven't finished correcting my database, but at one time I had over 650 Munsons. RW Munson hybridized over 1000. In my daylily infancy I bought anything that was purple(favorite color) on Ebay and most of them turned out to be Munsons. Inca Prince is my most favorite. You might try Cheryl's daylilies for this cultivar, she has as many as I did at one time. Perhaps I can get you fixed up with some cvs in the spring.
I'm still going through the ATP database, have found 42 so far that I have a photo of and I'm only up to the Ss.

Sigh me too Teresa Shrug! whaddaya gonna do? I'm cautiously looking at spider/UFs and maybe a few minis. I have to realize that dormants don't do that well for me and stay away from them. I'm trying to get away from daylily only beds and have more perennials.

I love mixed beds. I grow both mixed beds and just dl beds or rows. I collect TB iris and hosta, throw in a few coral bells, sedums and lilliums. I try to have something blooming until it freezes. I wish I could grow some canna and EEs without bring them in.

I understand about having to dig plants to bring in, I also dislike it immensely. That's probably why I stopped with the plumeria, didn't have to dig, but lugging it upstairs was too much. I love hedychium gingers and crinum, also cannas, they are hardy for me thank goodness. I'll start loading pictures later tonight for your viewing pleasure!

One thing to be aware of when searching the AHS database - the search engine isn't very sophisticated.
For example, if the daylily name is "Joseph's Folly" and you fail to put the apostrophe in Joseph's, the search engine won't find the plant.
