4/18/2015 Robert's Crossing (dinner): following the clinic
Menu and cost per person for our group:
Dinner will include salad, entree, dessert, coffee and tea for $29 (This also includes the use of the meeting room.) The entree choices will be Chicken Saltimboco, Bone-in Pork Chop, Pacific Salmon with Oregon berry glaze and/or Fisherman's stew.

I want all of you to know that we will be having two very special guest at the clinic this year. One is Toby Lander of Youngs Garden Center, Roseburg, Oregon.
The other guest will be kept secret, you will not want to miss meeting this amazing plant breeder.

And more fun things will be happening at the clinic, you will have to come in order to participate in this part.

Remember, there is no charge for the clinic, so come one, come all, and enjoy this great event.

Lynn, I think we had talked about going to a plant sale in Portland on Sunday? I will have to check the old thread. Planting seeds in the greenhouse right now. Will look after dark.

Is Toby bringing semps to sell, like Kevin's new ones!!!! Maybe a surprise.
Lynn, can we pop over to your house for a peak at the raised beds ( you did so much work on them) if the clinic doesn't start to early?
I feel like I'm just inviting myself to everyone's houses.
I can hardly wait!!!!

Of course you can come over. How about just a simple continental breakfast Sat. morning, serve yourself? Maybe a potluck type of thing?
I am also beginning to get excited. I can't wait to see all of you, and I am hoping we have some new members added to the group.
Still hoping @ofm, @MotherRaphaela and many others will be coming. Sure wish @goldfinch4 and @twitcher could make it. Am hoping @picklepuff will be coming?

I don't think Toby is bringing any plants, so no, that is not one of the surprises.

I emailed Toby to see if he is going to bring the new semps to sell at the clinic. That would sure be great.

Can't tell you how much I would enjoy coming, but while I'm still working, it just won't work out. I'll certainly be thinking about all of you though and looking forward to pictures and such!

Wow, you guys have been busy!

You are welcome to stop over before the clinic and look around as there is much to see besides the semps too. My garden has expanded a good bit since you were here last. The late daffodils and dwarf irises should be looking their best then too.

There are several nice places here in Salem for dinner that are also fairly wallet friendly too. If you'd like me to organize something for that I would be happy to do so.

Love your new photo Lynn. Amazingly enough I can still see that happy little girl in you!

Am sure you'll be excited by the other surprises; I know Lynn is ready to BUST!

Yes, Kevin, what time will it start this year? There was so much to see and do in so little time last year.
We could bring pot luck snack food.

Hi guys,

Why don't we start at 12 so we can do a little romp through the yard for everyone that hasn't seen things before the clinic and also go over the established plants from Fernwood. These are looking especially good this year and I hope that they will be in prime shape for the clinic days.

Are we psyched yet??

Don't know about the others, but I am sure getting psyched.

I updated the first post to show starting time for the clinic.
Now what about the idea of bringing potluck food? Things that can are easy to set out on Kevin's dining table.

If we go to Robert's Crossing at 4PM we won't need much or i could just make a big pot of clam chowder and we all dig in and have a cup of chowder. Of course Clift might be upset if he doesn't get chowder too!

Anyway, we can do the chowder or something simpler. I can do a buffet, as you well know!
