Elegant Candy has been a favorite here for years. Emerald Joy and Endowed with Beauty are pretty... Reading the stats on Tree_climbers plants, they have some impressive budcounts!

The above three have left the garden to make room for new additions. They all grew well for me.

Somehow I don't have a good picture of my own, so I'm borrowing this one. This daylily surprised me this year, in that the deer, amazingly, did not get the buds this fall. Even more amazingly, despite the weather, I was able to enjoy bloom when I was putting up Christmas ornaments on the back yard trees in December. (The base color, with the cool weather, was more yellow than anything, but the blooms were managing to open well enough, and they provided some welcome color to the garden.)

Nowadays I would not buy a daylily with such short scapes (Stout Medal winner or not), but the plant is somewhat rust resistant, and so has thus far survived several garden purges. (I have stumbled across various child (or grandchild) plant descriptions which indicate that (at least) those offspring are significantly taller, so I have to wonder about the genes lurking in this one.)
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
