Outer Limits (Gossard, 2008)
This one does not have the saturated color I like, and can be blotchy, but I love that it is more red than orange, and the color combination is wonderful. No luck setting pods on it yet, but it's pollen works easily.
Blooms twice a year here, starting sporadically sometime in mid-late April, then blooming almost daily until the end of June, and then later again in the fall.
Always happy to see this one, always sad to see the end of it. The plant has beautiful green foliage and the fragrant blooms always open well. I have it in a raised bed, so I see the blooms eye-to-eye. Blooms just over a month here, from the end of May shortly into July.

I fell in love with a huge clump of One Last Dance on my '05 trip to Steve Moldovan's. When I was getting ready to leave, my jeep already packed to the gills with daylilies, he surprised me with a piece of One Last Dance. Steve passed away July 14, 2006, the same day my gift of One Last Dance began blooming that next year. The daylilies with memories attached can be the ones we enjoy seeing the most
