This Cedar Sage did something strange last year...never saw them with any white before. Maybe it crossed with another salvia?

Yes, I do have a hot lips sage, so that's possible. My hot lips has red-only blooms on some branches and then it also has the red and white blooms. I wondered if IT could be a cross!

I loved my salvias this year. This is Coral Nymph which came highly recommended from the members here. Bloomed all season long, no pests, no staking, no deadheading. Virtually care free. These were freebies from Diane's seeds!

This salvia did not come with an ID tag when I bought it off the sale rack at Lowe's. It has reproduced prolifically (but not invasively) and has the brightest red with a hint of pink at times. I'm hoping it will pollinate with the Coral Nymph and create something new!

Snow hill did pretty well considering it was a nearly dead $1.50 bargain from the rescue rack at Lowe's. It took a few months to get going good. This year should be stunning.
I like the white form of Gregg's Salvia. It seems to be able to get through anything! And it's had a lot of hard weather in the last few years.

This little Blue Salvia (maybe Bedder Blue??) did very well last year. Not sure if it survived the winter yet, but I did get some seeds from it just in case.

My greenhouse allows me to see earlier spring blossoms...in fact,...the involutata bloomed throughout the winter...not as vigorously as during the summer, of course,....but still some small clusters of flowers..... the shape of the leaves along with the stem growth pattern combined with the interesting flowers...make this one of my favorites
