I tried to trim and save as many plumerias as I can but the big trees are too big to move or cover :(. With temps below 32 for a few hours, I'm resigned to the fact that I will lose a few plummies Thumbs down Thumbs down Sad Thumbs down

Fortunately it wasn't supposed to last long. It's 37 here at 5.30 am so I think we're ok. Might lose a few tips...

Sorry I got busy last night cutting off a few branches and saving as many potted plummies and succulents. Forecast said we were below 30's for couple hours.

This morning, The ones I left outside looks fine but looks are deceiving. I will not know until this weekend if they got damaged or not.

Yes, it often shows itself a little down the road. I would keep checking them regularly and cut at the first sign of rot.

Will do... It is just sad to see my multi tip large plumerias are now just branches with no tips😞.

Oh well, maybe the ones I cut off will bloom when I plant them in pots this year. then I won't need a ladder to enjoy the blooms.

There you go, Gigi. This may be a blessing in disguise. Ladders can be dangerous! Sticking tongue out

I know now my husband is getting nervous because I have 15 more mini trees to grow (most were multitip). They really are long overdue for trimming but I was hoping to grow them like large trees

I might have overreacted a little bit by cutting off the multi tips of my large plumeria trees. I inspected the ones I left uncovered including succulents and even my Dendrobium orchids and they seem to be ok. Oh well better safe than sorry.

I made sure I saved my 3 plumerias with seed pods (2 Barbados SG/confetti and 1 Dwarf Pink Singapore) and adenium with seedpods.

I lost an inflo Thumbs down but I have 2 inflos which seem to be viable, or might survive our late winter cold snaps.

That sure would not only eliminate a lot of heat/humidity but also hurricanes. Can we just have two seasons then, spring and fall? Whistling
