Beautiful. Show us more eye candy, please. Mine are starting to wake up, but I'm not ready for them to do that yet. I don't have enough light for them to grow well indoors. It's amazing that they can sense small amounts of increasing light. I have 2 that overwinter on my unused fireplace hearth. They get no supplemental light other than the lights we use during the evenings in the den, and near the end of each winter (I can't convince them that February is still winter), they start sending forth new leaves. The house temps remain the same, 70-72 degrees. I have got to find a way to convince DH that I need a greenhouse for my plants.

Love the dark one and the yellow!! Still trying to nurse mine through the winter. Have been giving them just a bit of water lately because the bases are getting a little soft ... please hurry up Spring!!!

I love the purple one Melissa. No flowers on mine right now, I am trying to figure what to do with my LARGE plant, it is so heavy I can hardly lift it.This picture was taken last summer, it is much larger now.

Doris, is it possible to give it a permanent place in your sunroom? Does it have windows that you can open once in a while to give it some fresh air? Or, can any of your grandkids (pardon my assuming that you have some ) move it in and out of the house for you? You shouldn't be trying to lift it at all. Is it on a plant dolly? Is there such a thing as a mobile plant stand? Something like that would be very handy.

Deebie, you should see some of the really big, old plants they have in Thailand. Takes several men and a crane to move one! no joke.

Mike, yes, Oriole is a Renoa plant. It produced four even limbs, and blooms very nicely. A good plant!

I too love the 'blacks', but neither of mine is very "bloomie", meaning they don't bloom often, and don't have many flowers when they do.

I saw this in someone's yard the other day, I will go back with binocualrs to get a better look. I don't want to be running around in someone's yard to look at their plants. There is a large pink Adenium behind a yucca, and a tall plant with a baobab sort of trunk, I think it might be a weird white Adenium.

The tall plant with the white flowers is almost certainly a Pachypodium, in my opinion.

Thank you Deebie I do have it in a sun room that have windows on three sides,and it is on a lazy Suzan so can keep turning it.my son puts it outside in the summer, it was suggested that I cut all the branches back to the roots and I may do that this summer.

Lovely blooms! I am still keeping my Adeniums indoors by our south facing window. It is slowly trying to wake-up, so tempting to bring it outdoors, since it is dry and sunny but our overnight temps are still dipping very low ..patience...patience...patience..

Tarev, good to hear. They hate temperatures under seventy! The book says fifty five, but mine would all perish at that frigid level!

Mine are all in my back room that has glass on three sides, and I keep the temp around 73 they seem to be quite happy.
