There were flowers everywhere we went. I did not know what the vast majority of them were though. Sphagnum and other mosses were everywhere.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Beautiful blooms! And that moss is awesome Thumbs up

It was so exciting to come home from work tonight and not see snow, but tulips peeking above the ground. I wasn't sure what they were at first because I thought it was too early. Very happy!

Ireland is very beautiful, particularly in the areas not frequented so often.

Spring is here in the High Desert....About 20 of the 60 or so daffodils are up. The crocus and wild iris are about done. The CA poppies are just starting to bloom as are the little yellow wildflowers. Violas are still full of blooms and the aphids are on the new iris leaves. Newly planted Irises are sending out leaves, the daylilies are big already, columbine, ranunculus, pink daffs, Asian lilies, and some tulips have broken ground as had a gopher. Fortunately my husband and some 22 bird shot took care of that problem. I have four little dogs, two doxies, so I never use poison, plus we have cottontails and they are allowed to stay as long as they can outrun the doxies! We get about one week of spring usually one day at a time over a couple months and then all of a sudden it's summer. But just when the lilacs are finally in full bloom, late May or June we get one more dusting snowfall and they get toasted and turn brown. Then it will be hot the following week. Mind you I'm not complaining with all the snow and storms everyone else has gone through, I just wish they could find a way to get all the snow that has piled up out here for water... Sighing!
