I got a nice surprise when I came in for a break from my work in the garden. The Ghio catalog is here! Of course I live very close to Santa Cruz so it will be a few more days for most of the rest of you! Just know to watch the mail for something nice! nodding

I just came back from down the street and my mail person hasn't come yet. I will be waiting in the tall grass like a lion stalking a gazelle.

I'm guessing only the central California people will get it today. These days the postal service seems to be slower due to consolidations in their postal centers. Sorry you have to wait! Sad

He didn't have them at the last meeting, so I kept putting off putting my check in the mail... I'll be in his neighborhood tomorrow and drop off my request..

Has anyone received their Mid-America catalog?

The Ghio catalogs that I've gotten in the past have no pictures -- just information, black on white. I haven't received the current catalog -- might need to order one. Does the catalog now have photographs of his Irises?

Past years he's had pictures on the inside of the front and back covers. Fortunately, Brad has added pictures of a lot of his introductions into the database. Thank You! Brad!

It's the same as in the past. The front and back covers are in color and the rest is a text listing in black and white. I agree... Thank You! Brad! Big Grin

I think that Brad is single-handedly responsible for more Iris sales than all other forms of advertising combined.

Well Brad has certainly caused me to add several to my collection. Can't imagine what effect he will have on the everyday unsuspecting catalog patron. They might become instant iris addicts!! And after a run on Joe's iris, all the other vendors will want Brad's pictures to feed the demands of this new mob of addicted iris buyers!! I see an iris frenzy in the making.... Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!
