Back under the trees out back, and a few in construction zone where new porch will be soon. Glad most of these got rained on yesterday. None of those leaves should be dusty anymore, flush out the tap water stuff.

Time to start taking serious cuttings from this, and repot/separate some soon.

Oh my, look how big that 'Air Plant' baby has gotten. Now I can't tell 'Mama' and 'Baby' apart!

Okay, I know these aren't really houseplants (although some do successfully grow C&S inside year-round), but these are my only plants that go outside for the summer.

Finally got my 'Aloe Vera' and Euphorbia 'Firesticks' to Mom's today. Repotted the Aloe from its tiny Chic-Fil-A styrofoam cup (hey, eating out has its uses afterall!) to a new pot which I hope it'll enjoy.

Here's everybody enjoying the rain (a couple of these are not mine, including the Euphorbia 'Corn Cob' at the top and the large cactus at the bottom with the numerous babies):

A little closer picture. I've noticed some of my cacti have turned a little brown like the 'Aloe Vera,' maybe I should have acclimated them. Oops. I'm sure they'll be fine. Hilarious!

Tiff,
I remember your initial posts (on the other gardening site) regarding 'Mama' having rooted herself in the base of the "tree" and I remember when the baby was tiny. Hilarious!

Tiffany, here in NE Mississippi, we have a forecast for 32F Saturday AM and 35F Sunday AM. Then we begin to warm up to more seasonable temperatures, with lows in the mid to upper 50's.

It was a close call last weekend, got to 40 1 night, 41 the next. I may have lost a couple new Coleus cuttings, but I think that's the only damage. If they'd said 39, I would have been putting stuff in the shed & under sheets. LOL!

Now, just gotta get rid of the armadillo that keeps digging around when I'm not looking...! It has even stranger garden ideas than the squirrels!

Tiff,
Lucky you, it got down to 35 here and we had frost on our cars. I brought my 'Foxtail Ferns' in just to be careful. Speaking of them, the one I cut back has sprouted seven new growths already. Lovey dubby

Not to hijack your thread, but I wanted to share a picture of my 'Arrowhead Vine' (Also lucky you, being able to place folks outside. Sticking tongue out ). I see a handful of new leaves are pink. I'll have to see if they change to green over time and if the new growth from now on continues to be pink. I believe this one is called 'Pink Allusion,' but I'm not sure what it looks like long term.

I love it! Any pics of plants breaking free into the wild are welcome! It's an exciting time, for those who are into doing that.

IDK what cultivar name might go to the one I have that makes pink leaves, but they do turn green over time.

I have come across pictures that look like yours (If the the one I'm thinking of is the one your referring to) as 'Pink Allusion,' but then there are pictures of mine also with the name cultivar name. That makes IDing the plant confusing because I'm not convinced that what we have are the same plants. At least I'm not convinced yet. Hilarious! I used to have one that had pink leaves, but they never turned green. Confused

I just don't know, some of the cultivar names look exactly alike to me.

Easter cactus regrowing well from severe trim about 2 yrs ago.

Misc plants put in ground. A super-annoying armadillo keeps digging around stuff.

It stopped raining long enough yesterday to take a few pics. Now, back to building a boat...

Have y'all had a lot of rain, Tiffany, thus the need for a boat/ark? Whistling

My backyard is like a swamp and walking on it feels like walking on a wet sponge. Sighing! We are supposed to have a week of dry weather. We need it! Hurray!

Yes, your weather has been similar I'm sure, rain every day for about 10 days. Have you had enough?

One good thing, it sure did wash off the sooty mold that the leaves of a few potted plants still had from being under trees last fall, (still in cracks & crevices I couldn't reach with cotton balls & Q-tips,) from sitting under trees that were dripping that stuff last fall. Will know to move them elsewhere much sooner this year.

DH said he'd find something that floats & push me & our last few beers down the street if it comes to that. Smiling
