hi there!

I have a common weed, at least in my area, that I would like to identify. This one is in Montgomery County, Texas but is also seen in Fort Bend and I suspect other counties in this area.

Anyone want to take a gander?

I have this one, too. It's sticky!

Definitely not S. gallica, flowers are very, very tiny and white. Thanks, though!

yes, the seed pods are sticky almost like Caesar weed, but it's not that either. Sad I'm digging around on Google, too.

Alright, the person I'm helping out said it wasn't Silene antirrhina. Sad Leaves are alternate not opposite.

It grows in the ditches near our farm and smells very sweet on a still morning.
