I want to buy yellow stemless primrose (oenothera triloba) seeds or plants.
My mother had these in her garden when I was growing up, and I can't find them anywhere.

thanks,
Debbie

I know you can buy oenothera lamarkiana and oenothera missouriensis from www.wildseedfarms.com out of Fredericksburg, Texas. I don't know about the variety you mentioned. Good luck....

I'm joining the club of searchers of Oenothera triloba. My childhood was spent watching these open each night, and we kids all brought some to new homes as we moved. Alas, the whole family has been without them for years, and have been searching in vain for a source. Please let me know if anyone knows where I can buy them! Thanks for your help!

There are some people on Dave's garden that grow these in their gardens that might have seed available. Everywhere that has them is sold out from what I found. Good Luck finding some.

These people carry the seeds. https://www.plant-world-seeds..... They grow wild down at our rural cabin in Central TX. But we don't go there so much when they are popping out. And I have yet to be able to collect seeds. The come and vanish so fast and are so small, you can barely dig the plants out of the ground. If we get down there during their season this summer, I'll try to contact you folks if I am able to dig any up successfully.

I agree with Lynne - look at www.wildseedfarms.com in Fredericksburg, Tx. They have seeds for Evening Primrose (oenothera lamarckiana), Missouri Primrose (O. missouriensis), and Showy Primrose (O. speciosa).
All of these come up in my front pastures and they are delightful. Not triloba, but still very pretty.
