But it says April 1st on the home page. This is the only place I see it say the 2nd.

That time reflects the time zone that you chose when you customized your site preferences. My home page currently says "Apr 1, 2015 8:59 PM" but, simultaneously, yours should be reading "Apr 1, 2015 5:59 PM" due to the time zones we've chosen in our site preferences (EDT and PDT, respectively.) Not even half way through, but am thoroughly enjoying the podcast. Jon is a very knowledgeable gardener! No surprise though with two such wonderful plant crazy parents Smiling Great rapport you guys have in your discussion Thumbs up

Will have to listen to the rest later. Got to the part where Jon is talking about getting the daylily Bluegrass Music. It is on my wish list this year and now am even more excited about getting it.

Really liked hearing about the upcoming plant sale. Hope it is a huge success!

I had to go into Tuscaloosa today for a medical appointment. I was happy to notice 2 high schools have scheduled plant sales for this month. Its so great to see young people learn about gardening, and growing their own food.

I enjoyed this podcast. I could listen to someone talk about daylilies for hours! That was fun to listen to Jon talk about what he is learning, currently doing, and his future plans. One smart young man! I am really interested to see what hybrids he can produce with his tooth/ruffles x spider daylily tet cultivars. Should be very interesting!

Thanks for the discussion about Franchi Red Pear tomatoes being resistant to stink bugs. Those darn bugs are the reason I have so little success with tomatoes! Will be ordering some seeds from your seed store to give them a try! I have your Mexican MIdgets growing now, but it may be a battle with the bugs. I didn't know Swiss Chard was a perennial. Cool!

This was a very informative podcast. I can see where Jon might take over some of those podcasts in the future. Maybe him and one of his sisters can do a few podcasts down the road?

I'm glad you enjoyed the podcast! Jon fills his mind with facts and can then talk and talk and talk about them. Smiling

The children won't take over the podcasts, though. I have too much fun doing it with Trish. But we enjoy bringing them on the show from time to time. Smiling

WOW I just saw the news letter in my mail and saw the picture of Jon. I thought "that sure looks like Dave" and boy was I shocked to learn that it was Dave's son, I have been here with Dave and Trish since it started and I remember them as babies, and Trish used to write every day what they were up to in the last three years I have not been on computer much, been in hospital more, but now I am better than ever, Jon seeing your picture and hearing your discussions is great sure does not seem like that many years ago that you were born. CONGRATULATIONS Trish and Davey ya done good nodding
