Thought I would try posting some of mine. They mostly look really good this year with the exception of a few that got sunburnt in early June when we suddenly got hot, dry, sunny weather after weeks of rain and one that drawstringed quite badly because of the rain.

This thread has pictures of Allegan Fog to Janet.

Allegan Fog - I notice it's got a couple of leaves with too much green.

Alligator Shoes - was divided this year.

Thumb of 2011-06-24/ViolaAnn/d3323b Amy's Choice - my own seedling of Korean Snow.

Ani Machi (aka Geisha) - was divided this year. Sold several divisions and put the rest back in 3 groups.

Aristocrat is east of my house. About 8 feet between houses, both with white aluminum siding. When the sun finally came out in June after weeks of rain, it got a bit fried. I'll likely remove the leaves most affected.

Avalanche finally beginning to look really good.

One of several Baby Buntings which are looking good this year.

Bellringer. Was ordered as Liberty Bell but has stabilized to the margined form. That's OK because I was buying it with money the handbell choir I direct gave me. It appears to be a fast growing, possibly rhizomatous mound. I should be able to share it with my bell ringers in a few years.

Blue Ivory was new last year and is looking good in the shadow of Regal Splendor.

Blue Mouse Ears

Blue Shadows - first year I've been able to tell it apart from Tokudama Aurenebulosa and I have had both for a long time.

Blue Wedgwood - one of my favourite blues albeit a bit messy this time of year because of the tree overhead.

Bridegroom

Brother Stefan - looking good in its 3rd year. I may have to rethink its location.

Cameo - this is doing the best of the BB sports. I nearly lost them 2 years ago when they got waterlogged in a container where the drainage failed.

Captain Kirk was a single eye 2 years ago.

Cherry Berry

Chinese Sunrise is beginning to lose its early spring yellow colour.

Christmas Pageant got moved after I took this picture. This one is in its 4th year and really struggled the 2nd year I had it when something ate much of its crown (Vole? although I've never seen any other sign of voles). Anyway, it's been a long struggle, but it's doing well now and is very pretty.

clausa - one of several I have. This one can become a bully but is great in difficult conditions where nothing else wants to grow. The deep purple flower buds which never open provide a spectacular spot of colour in season.

Country Mouse - one of my smallest.

Thumb of 2011-06-24/ViolaAnn/e4a5e8 Cracker Crumbs is a fast-growing mini. I have border of it elsewhere and put three divisions in this pot with Teaspoon.

Cutting Edge looks like it was fed steroids last year.

Thumb of 2011-06-24/ViolaAnn/802a53 Dancing With Leila - my own seedling of Last Dance is AFAICT nearly identical to Dancing With Me. Quite unusual to get a marginated seedling.

Deja Blu - for some reason has never had the lightening bolt, but is still pretty.

Ghost Spirit - in the Ottawa climate, it stays mostly white in the centre.

Gold Drop is beginning to acquire its gold colour

Great Expectations - at least a decade old and never divided except when I removed a green sport a number of years ago.

Green Eyes is a happy mini.

Gypsy Rose is a plant to watch. Not growing very fast (3rd year) and sporting to something.

Thank you. I ran out of time this morning. have more, but am thinking after this I should start a different thread.

Illicit Affair

Thumb of 2011-06-24/ViolaAnn/1ec69e Invincible - a nice, glossy green

Island Charm - seems smaller than what most people have. Have had this for quite a long time. slow to grow and shorter leaves than it should have.

Janet - after I divided off a sport. Decided it was easiest to take a spade to the plant; so I got 3 other divisions as well.

Thumb of 2011-06-24/ViolaAnn/e99d3b The Janet sport in my nursery bed.

We are having a thunder storm. BBL.
