What is your most unusual container that is planted in your garden?

I only have the "usual" ones myself: tire planter, wash tub, KatG's planter heads, and various pots.

I saw Steven's basket and thought that was wonderful! It is on my list of things to incorporate.

The heat and drought is putting all of my gardening on hold while my plants hand on for dear life, all I can do is dream. Tell me all about your fun and unusual planters!

I'm all ears!

I love finding things at yard sales. I found this bright and colorful little ceramic ring box. DH drilled a hole in it for me.

In the winter I have to bring it indoors, it is a tender succulents. Just setting it in a bright window for winter with a sip of water once or twice a month was all it needed to stay beautiful and healthy. Very easy to keep this one happy indoors for winter. And it's so tiny it doesn't take any room at all.

Here is an old mop bucket that my SIL was going to throw away. Rolling on the floor laughing Now he checks with me before tossing.

Fun topic!

This is an acrylic tissue box cover ... used more as a plant "cozy" to protect plants in cold weather and help speed growth.

Tee I remember your cleaver use of the plastic tissue box. I love it.
Fantastic use of a kiddie pool. Hmmm, a person could have a bog garden in one of those.

I need to go next door and take a photo of their old wringer washing machine planted in colorful summer annuals. It is wonderful.

Cool containers everyone.

Great thread Trish.

Lynn, in a follow up to you bringing your container(s) inside for the winter. Is there something I can spray on mine to make sure no gnats or bugs come in with them?
