A few more from Ottawa. At this rate, by the time I finish, it will be time to take more pictures.

'Ghost Spirit' looking more misty than it usually does at this time of year.

'Grand Prize' with a huge flower bud it's had for nearly a week. I think this will be the first to bloom this year.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/fab72c

'Great Expectations' with a large green/blue eye. I've removed it and will likely give it away to someone who'd like a large solid colour hosta.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/c60ef6

'Gypsy Rose' - or at least it's supposed to be. This one has been doing funny things since I got it. It now seems to be settled into something, but what? Does it match anything in the 'Striptease' family or is it a new sport?
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/0f630a

'Harpoon' - this one is a free-spirited hosta. No neat, tidy mounds. Love it!
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/edbb5c

'Ice Age Trail' is one of the slower ones to unfurl. Mine has very little streaking.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/469462

'Jewel of the Nile' - not yet showing the distinctive colouring it will develop.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/05d772

'June' - the older of my divisions. This one gets more light and morning light and is well ahead of the one on the west side of the house which is also shaded by the neighbour's house.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/4f2615

'Kinbotan' is a fast growing mini which makes a good ground cover. Very low to the ground.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/37eddb

'Korean Snow' in its spring colours.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/f0cafa

'Lemon Frost' - part of a border I have edging one garden.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/c9f4c1

'Liberty' - one we all love.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/da0d8a

'Little Miss Sunshine' - new last autumn and seems to be doing well.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/b25761

'Little Treasure' is another that gets full sun since we had to removed the Ash tree. So far it seems to like it.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/8c6d45

'Lakeside Cranberry Relish' - one I like a lot.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/a0b4ea

'Lakeside Mom' - my favourite streaked plant.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/1edcad

'Lakeside Paisley Print' is looking good this year.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/876f39

'Lakeside Reflecting Glass' - a streaked sport of 'Lakeside Looking Glass'. Mine had a reverted eye. It's now been separated and since I don't have 'Lakeside Looking Glass', I think that's what I'll call it.
Thumb of 2015-05-19/ViolaAnn/15f0c2

'Lovely Leila' - my own seedling. Origin unknown as the squirrels moved the markers around in its first winter. I've named it after one of my granddaughters.

Thank you Julia and Paul. I've been slow to respond as I direct a handbell ensemble and we are now out of town for a festival. It's been very slow getting everything organized and we were on the road all afternoon today.
Thank You!

It's still very early in the season for us. I wouldn't expect to see many slugs until early-mid July, But I also try to douse them with 1 part ammonia/10 parts water when or shortly after they emerge. Haven't done it yet this year.
