Location is the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro, it was not labelled!

The very thick central leaf nerve made me think of Philodendron crassinervium, the flower not though, I hadn't noticed it at the time as I could not approach close to the plants, everywhere there are guards whisteling you back when you get off the main paths to see or to photograph more details of a plant!
The thing is that the general leaf shape looks bigger, much broader and on top wavy edged what i haven't seen in the wild species..

I'm not sure that it is the philodendron , It seems that the leaves are in the rosette ,Philo grow leaves at intervals behind, the stems are composed of articles

It reminds me somewhat of Birdsnest Anthurium, A. coriaceum:

I think anthurium as well, but I'm not sure, they look great!
The guards might have needed more than a whistle to get me back in line there, those places drive me nuts but I guess you can't let the general public run wild...

I believe 'my' plants look like Philodendron lanceolatum like pictured by Marcus Nadrus who say it is in the collection of the Botanical garden of Rio. But he also consideres it as a synonym of P. crassinervium
The blooms though of the two species are different as shown further on in the article and the one shown of P.lanceolatum looks like 'mine' I have to make a crop of it, but it might not come out very well, as those pics are already cropped versions..
What a confusion though..

Did you notice that same pic of P.lanceolatum on the Exotic Rainforest site also shows the plant leaves as growing in a rosette? Or is that a false impression?

I also had thought of the possibility of it being Anthurium lin and Swayback..
Those guards also worked on my nerves Swayback, I agree the guards cannot let run the public wild, but they can exaggerate, especially when it's obvious a person only shows genuine interest in a plant.

bloom are not very important, a lot may vary depending on the Habitat
I would have focused attention on the composition of the worksheet into rosettes
I'm searching for more than an hour and I couldn't find anything interesting
to wonder how little information there is about the philodendron

Frustrating indeed Stefan how little info is available about Philodendron, you bump into them all the time in the Atlantic rainforest, but identification with certainty is near to impossible for most of them.
Until now I had thought that the bloom was a main factor for id, maybe the seed pods then..
