Stunning in Wild Iris Rows

I stood on a little knoll and looked around me. It was like nothing I'd ever seen, acres and acres of color spread out like a treasured old patchwork quilt made of random shapes and sizes. It was pieced together with strips of green and shades of brown that gently covered the rolling hills. It was an iris farm and every plant seemed to be blooming in glorious color!

Thanks Ladies, I wish we could have taken you with us, it was that beautiful. I was expecting acres of straight rows of single colors. All neat and orderly, you know. What a surprise to find something more like a patchwork quilt or a random abstract painting, wildly beautiful. The acres were there, but the straight rows weren't. The entire farm was as creatively planted as its name: Wild Iris Rows.

Your stories are so well written they don't require photo's but I'm sure thankful you added them. What a lovely farm and what beautiful and gorgeous blooms.

A day filled with flowers and a gardening buddy - it doesn't get much better than that.
