Leon, I didn't even have enough words to describe that farm. Every time I walked up the next little hill, there was a brand new sight filling my eyes. If I had been younger, the child in me would have been running with wild abandon. I think it was the creative way it's planted that made it so stunning.

I've been to a lot of specialized farms, but none that could compare to WIR. Greg Hester, the owner, must surely be an artist at heart.

I agree about the lack of words to describe this farm. I had seen their ad for years in the AIS Bulletin, but never realized it was in Tennessee! And your article brought it all to life for me. Although it is somewhat difficult to see, the farm layout seemed to have what I use a LOT of: Stepping stones or 'paver bricks'. But of course the reality of being there in person must have been an awe inspiring day for you as well as Mary Ann. Maybe I can plan a trip south next year. This is a great & timely article!

Wouldn't it be fun for those of us who could . . . to plan a trip all at the same time next spring. Greg would have a big bunch of avid ATP'ers all over his farm and we would be in Iris heaven!
