I haven't been on this forum much, but thought I'd share a few pictures of some lilies I currently have blooming. Most of mine are NOID's as I got them as hand me downs from friends. I've started to buy some and keep track of their names more recently, although most of the named ones are not in bloom yet. If you recognize any of them it would be nice, but if not, I still enjoy them a lot. I mostly have irises, and daylilies, but these give me color between the other two.
This one is a favorite. It's a double yellow and puts on a nice show. It stands about 3 ft high.

Here's another one I like a lot, about 2 feet tall, early bloomer. Red with an orange center.

This one is probably Lollipop but not certain.

This one is a bright orange, almost florescent in color, but my camera doesn't seem to get it right. It's taller about 40 inches, and has no fragrance. Love the color.

Here's a Pink one that just opened today, so it's later blooming, just under 3 feet tall.

Another pink one, more rosy pink, and early bloomer, short about 2 feet tall

This is a reddish double one, has some white/ivory streaks in it, tall about 3 feet.

This is one I like a lot, very velvety bright red, about 2 feet tall


This one is the first one to open every year, it has the most amazing fragrance.


The color fades on this one as it ages.

That's all I have in bloom at the moment, I will share them as they open if there's any interest.

First one Fata Morgana and yes on Lollypop.

Oh thanks! It does look like Fata Morgana in the data base, and the first year it bloomed it didn't show much doubling.

# 4 is Matrix, red with orange center

Matrix in the data base. It should be short if it is Matrix, around 2 feet.

Number 4 is very short about 2 feet tall. I think you pegged it! You guys know your lilies!

The leaves and flower spike structure (#1) match Fata Morgana, too. Less doubleness is common on new plants or those doing poorly. Your's look fantastic now!

#11 looks like Monte Negro to me. Mine is about 2' tall.

#6 and 7 might be Compass. I can never get it as bright orange as it is. Your height is about what mine is. My came from one of bleeks co-ops here.

I have another one open today. It's a different type of lily then the ones I've posted so far. It's a lot like another one I have called Lady Alice, but it's earlier, and I think nicer.

I was out taking pictures this morning. The lilies are really going strong now.

My camera just doesn't capture the bright colors in this one.

Beautiful Lilies Tom. I have several of those, but just put them in this spring, so only 3-4 bulbs of each. I hope they fill out as well as yours have.

This is a new bloom in my garden, and I am loving it. Conca D'or, an OT. Its shorter than expected, but the blooms are huge, about 8" across.

Thanks, they really increase fast, I'm going to have to thin most of them this fall. My Conca D'or hasn't bloomed yet, and they are shorter this year, but they increased from 2 to 4 stems and one from 1 to 3 stems, so I guess they will be taller next year.
I used to have this pink one called Robina, It had one single stem for about 4 years, and then it increased to two. That winter we had the cold temps down to minus 22 degrees, and I lost it. I really loved this one, and it was so very fragrant. I haven't found a source for it, I'd sure like to replace it. I had gotten it from a booth at the Chicago Garden expo.


I can tell by the dead grass that this picture was taken during the summer of 2012 when we had the long spell of temps near 100 and no rain.

A couple more lilies open now, This first one I have no idea where it came from. I am guessing it's one from one of my gardener friends who is always giving me some of her extras, but I honestly don't remember even planting it. I better start taking some ginko!
