I thought so too as well
but it short and looking more oriental to me..
but the flowers are standing upright so that makes it hard to tell

I bought these from a good breeder....maybe something got mixed up when they were packed and shipped.....

usually OT are tall and this thing is maybe 30 inches max if that.......maybe shorter......

the only reason I thought maybe not an oriental is the buds are not hanging or facing downward ever.....on this lily
I guess see if the breeder knows too.........sent her an email

I agree with Joe. It looks like an OT. What oriental would have that colour?
Late planted and stressed OT's can be quite short the first year. I had a few last year that behaved like that when we had early heat.

I would definitely say OT too. There are lots of yellows now though. I believe Conca d'Or was an early "breakthrough" one.

Well the email came back and she said she does not recognize this lily at all............but the bulbs came from her I am sure......... they were to be gold band......that is what the tag said that went into the ground so the best I can do is LOVE IT OR DIG IT.........that is about the size of it......
very pretty though
just never seen anything with this color of peach in it before........
the flower is for sure Peach......will get a better once it is in full bloom............
it is the reverse that is throwing me............so must have trumpet in it too...............so maybe an OT of some type......

Or he said Orania instead
hard to tell will see more when it blooms but do not see the Deep Reverse on the flower as in Orania
looks more like Avocado .........but might change as it opens.......

both are OT
and I love all the OT anyhow.....
