I especially admire the accurate plant darabase, so many thanks to the admin and moderators for fact checking, plus all the member contributors. And of course Dave for his thoughtful and quick responses to change suggestions, and Trish for her tireless assistance. So fun to watch this site continue to grow.

Many, many thanks to Dave, Trish. Zuzu, Sue, Evan, and Kent. Also to Jon, the prince in waiting. Thanks to all of you who grow beautiful plants and share wonderful pictures. ATP and plants are an integral part of my day. I check ATP first thing every morning, at bed time, and several times during the day. It fills in some quiet hours. I also appreciate that those who participate are friendly and helpful. I enjoy reading forums that I do not participate in. A bouquet to everyone here......

I am so glad I found ATP while snooping around the internet. I like everything about it. It has helped me with my gardening problems. Each year, my garden has improved because of the ideas from ATP. Thanks to the administrators and moderators. Thanks to Dave, Trish the children who sold me wonderful seeds, and the cute ones who give me a smile when they show the raffle winners.

I don't participate in any other online forums or groups except for ATP. It's the only one I find interesting, informative, supportive of my severe gardening addiction, and whose members have a collective bodily of knowledge that is nothing short of astonishing. I so appreciate all the wonderful photos, comments, ideas, help with plant IDs, and so on. On top of all that, all the people who run this site are extremely efficient, knowledgeable, responsive, and personable. I simply don't know what I would do without ATP! So yay, and way to go! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I can't even begin to describe how ATP has positively affected my life. I love the serious gardening part of it & I love the fun part of it and I love the serious fun of it! I am here off & on every day I think. I get so much great information here and enjoy sharing any knowledge I have. I love that the members are so conscientious in posting verified correct info. to the database rather than just schlepping it. In short, I love this great big gardening family!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATP!!!!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Dave & Trish, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being "you".

I would like to commend the admins and moderators for their continually tireless efforts. Thank you all. I tip my hat to you.

Last but not least I would like to thank every single member of this online family of like minded souls for being the people you are.

My favorite website and go-to place to share photos, chat with and learn from others, and just generally hang out online with a great bunch of people! Thanks to Dave, Trish, and all the ATP administrators and moderators for making this such an interesting, fun, warm, friendly, and accepting place to be!

Hurray! Congratulations, Dave and Trish!

I joined a few years ago but only just recently discovered the Plant List feature.

And what a useful feature it is! Thank You!

I especially love being able to keep my "want" list online where I can access them easily if I happen to stop by at a nursery. Whistling

It's been 10 years since someone gave me the gift of membership in a gardening site for my birthday. I had just retired from teaching and had a lot of time on my hands; it was nearing winter as well. I had never had time to use the internet for anything except educational information and had no idea gardening sites existed. By the time I registered and settled in, trying to learn to navigate, out of the blue I received a Dmail from somebody who signed his name as Shoe, short for Horseshoe, welcoming me, and then suddenly I found myself in the Welcome forum and I never looked back. It was Dave's Old Garden and at that time it was so friendly I had more new online friends than I knew what to do with. It wasn't very long before there was a request for those interested in writing gardening articles; that message came from Dave himself and as I remember the request was just below the banner on every home page. I jumped on the request, was accepted, and it wasn't very long before Aunt Bett made her first appearance.

The rest, as they say, is history. And when the mood of that site began to go downhill, I never looked back, I simply jumped again on the opportunity to follow Dave and Trish anywhere. I also brought most of my friends with me, including 'Aunt Bett'.

About 5 months ago my life was interrupted by a serious health issue, my computer time as well as any type of winter gardening was interrupted as well. But when I was able to return to this site, I was overwhelmed with well wishes from so many ATP (and Cubits) friends. I think more than all the medical care and all the new meds, it was truly all the online gardening friends who healed my heart and hurried my return to health and to my garden.

ATP just feels like home to me.

Thanks and Happy Happy Birthday!

I wanted to quote some of the above comments, but then I went back to the top and re-read them all down to Rita's post. And then I discovered that every comment listed reflects something that I wholeheartedly agree with, and cannot improve upon. All of these members express so much the way we all feel at one time or another about this great gardening site!

I want to add that we all are in a state of continual learning here because of the array of new ideas posted each week. This does not include all the wonderful pictures, comments and references posted as well. So for me personally it is a continuing education at its best. And ATP represents a treasure trove of information, factual data and photographic identification. And the forums themselves are priceless.

Congratulations to everyone associated with this wonderful endeavor! I would be remiss if I left anybody out. So my very best wishes go to everyone involved with ATP, from the newest member all the way to the the administrators, all moderators and of course the Whitinger family! I feel honored to be a small part of it all! Smiling
