I know there are more people than just myself around who are nuts about salvias. Show us your pics, tell us your experiences with them. There are more than 900 in the genus and I'm always learning from others. My s.guaranitica Omaha Gold and Costa Rica Blue are just starting to flower again:

Salvia microphylla 'Hot Lips' as she's looking today, mostly in her red coloration right now:

Sherry, you had a double post for Salvia leucantha 'Santa Barbara' so I went to delete just one post and it deleted your image in the second post too, not sure what happened there. Can you please repost it? When you do, I'll delete the one with the missing image. Sorry about that, must have been a glitch.

Costa Rica Blue is one of my favorites, I took a cutting of my huge one out front and have another one planted out back next to a climbing rose.
I used to have salvia mexicana, it got too big for the area and then I lost cuttings from neglect. It's such a beautiful color!

I just checked, my Salvia mexicana was 'Limelight'. Sherry, do you grow that one too? What's the difference between it and the 'Colima'?

I have always liked Salvia guaranitica 'Black and Blue'. This one is my Mom's, she has the 'Terracotta' yarrow planted next to it, a stunning combo I think.

I do grow salvia aurea /africana-lutea. This is it today at about 4-5 ft tall. I would love to find room to make a hedge of this one...but then I feel that way about so many of them:
