Hi, I'm Janice. I just found this spot accidentally, answering a question concerning hostas that was on the web. Very interesting site. I have a Central Florida garden blog-'Gardening Outside The Lines'. I'm at...janiceflorida.blogspot.com...if you care to visit.

Agapanthus, I have them everywhere.

White Gaura is also a good plant for our hot, humid Central Florida climate.

I agree Beautiful garden, Janice and Welcome!

I'm with Ginger these days, living in the wild kingdom. At this time of year it's just too hot for me to keep up with the weeds so my garden is a jungle. As the weather cools, the plants slow down and the gardener speeds up again. I will catch up, but through summer it's all I can do to keep the pathways open. I have agapanthus and daylilies too, although all are taking a rest like me at the moment.

Feel free to post on the blooms thread as new things show up in your garden. That's where we all post and chat regularly. The thread "Florida Garden Spring and Summer 2015" in Florida Gardening forum

You folks are all so inviting. Thanks for the kind remarks. You all have lovely gardens also, I'll try to visit over here every now and then. It's a lot just keeping up with 'blogspot' though. I just love seeing that we are growing the same plants.

I have one more larger raised bed outside the fenced area. This was the first year we planted in raised beds, everything did so much better then when we planted in ground.

Raised beds make veg gardening oh so much easier. The nutrients tend to stay where u put them.
