This blog post is full of living color, both in the daylilies as well as the caladium pictures. What encourages me is your tenacity, positive demeanor and willingness to overcome difficult obstacles! I'd like to share a few of my own setbacks and disappointing events, but there are too many to list, and they all would not serve any good purpose.

What I am thankful for is the fact you're back- here- & sharing your gorgeous pictures! I am glad too for the prayers, thoughts and warm wishes going your way from all of us. And they will continue!

Leon, goodness, that just touched my heart!

Ya know, the thing is, I don't believe I'm here to be a slug. And if there is an obstacle in front of me, I do believe it's my choice to climb over it or go around it or tunnel under it but I just really don't believe God means for me to sit down and lean against it and whine while I wait for someone to come along and carry me past it. I've never been really sick before, so what do I know, but I have learned if there is a way to get well, then I will choose that way. You have done and continue to do the same thing, Leon, that's evident in every word you write.

And neither of us likes to talk about health issues very much. That's pretty evident too. I think we've learned a lot from our plants that often continue to grow even with our neglect, and we've learned a lot from being very close friends with Nature for all these years.

We are the lucky ones, Leon! Don'tcha know? *Blush*
Thank you.
