strange plant can't find name or pic of in the Plant ID forum

where i work we have come across a strange orange tube like plant about size and length of a french fry that has a brown sticky substance on tip that appears to attract fly's which become stuck to it! wanna know what it is and where it came from? i will snap a picture to send when i get a response back.

What is this? A contest? Is there a cash prize if we guess you plant without a location or a photo?

How about telling us the location where the plant was seen. Most everyone can snap at least a cell phone photo, give us a look at the plant; even a blurry, sideways pic is better than no pic at all..

Ha, when I get my check each month I often say, "That stinks!" I usually have month left over at the end of my money.

I agree that the OP is not a serious plant enthusiast. Probably has more important things to occupy his mind and his time.

His statement "i will snap a picture to send when i get a response back" was made a couple of days ago, he has received a ton of responses and still no photo.

Oh,

maybe he is loss in the woods or got attacked by Coyotes. Maybe he slipped on some slippery fungus and is lying helpless in the wilderness of Pennsylvania.
