Red Currants. These Old-Time Shrub Fruits Are Easy To Grow

Red Currants grew in our garden from the time of my childhood. My mother cooked them for jams, but I loved to simply pick them and eat them fresh.

Yes, the Catbirds eat them. But there are plenty for both of us as they do make a lot of berries.

I was thinking they would be good to attract birds. I wonder if deer eat them.
