I have a daylily reblooming that is a NOID. If anyone can help identify it, that would be great (kidfishing? You seem to be really good at it I tip my hat to you. )
However, identity or not, I wanted to share its very interesting edge characteristics. It has a double (maybe triple?) edge that is bubbly/ toothy. It also has this sparkly GOLD edging that is really awesome. Any help with explaining how this cultivar would be described in a database here on ATP or for AHS would be much appreciated.
So...those of you that have registered cultivars, please help us 'newbies' wade through an accurate description.

In addition to being a reliable rebloomer, it looks like tomorrow's bloom is going to be a poly form Smiling

Regina - I don't have any idea what the cultivar is, but it is beautiful. I have that shiny gold edging on one of my seedling blooms. It's like a magnet to my eyes! I love yours (and my seedling) because of that gold edging! So unusual compared to all the rest in my yard. Big Grin Thumbs up

I don't recognize that one.
I'd call it a double bubbly edge of gold and red.

Where did you get it? I could probably find it on the sellers website.

It came from an older couple that live about 45 minutes from me. They gave up tagging their plants years ago, but he thinks he has a list somewhere Smiling
There are many that he remembers the name for, and I tag those as I buy them. They don't sell online.

They have beautiful daylilies and some are easy to figure out. I went by there this evening (couldn't resist seeing any late bloomers) and of course I had to bring a few more home Whistling

He did say that they tended to get many of theirs from SC or local hybridizers, so maybe I can find the name of it that way. I don't think they have any of the newer cultivars, so I was hoping someone here would recognize it.

They're always super nice and answer any questions I have, plus I've never paid over $8 for a double fan! It's great being able to actually see the plant blooming, not just a picture to choose from. That way I can count blooms, look at foliage, and see how the plant is doing right here in my climate.

Thanks to all for your guesses. If anyone can name it, I can buy you one at a really good price Rolling on the floor laughing

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Fill My Cup') ???
Or its parent Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Champagne and Caviar') ???

Just wild guesses... Sticking tongue out

...but searches keep tossing up the name of Champagne and Caviar. Shrug!

How long ago did they give up on naming and when did you purchase it? Is it possible that it's this?:

(That's a 2011 intro, though)

Would you say it's more orange or peach colored? When I did a search on ATP, I found a lot of 'orange' ones that looked like it, but none of them had a pure yellow throat likes yours, most had varying amounts of green.

Great guesses chelle. I will have to do some research on those and see if I can find some more photos of each one. It seems to have more characteristics and habits of Champagne and Caviar, and the year would probably be closer to what I expect to get from the seller. I am going to see if I can find out more about the hybridizer to see if there was ever a detailed description of the cultivar. Thanks!!

You are great with the database Smiling

And I'm true to my word...if you'd like to have one, tree mail me your address and I'll send you one in the spring Smiling

The style is close, but the colors are a bit off. Mine is more peach than pink. Thanks for trying Smiling

That is beautiful, but way too new. Most of the ones they have range from the eighties to early 2000s.

They gave up on names about 7-8 years ago. I purchased it from them last summer, 2014.

It's definitely more of a peach color, and the throat can vary somewhat from yellow to almost an apricot color that matches the edging. I have not ever noticed any green in the throat.

Thanks for your efforts Smiling

Here's a few more possibilities I found...

2003

2003

(other pictures of this one had a bit of green, so if you think it's this, double check the other pictures first)

2003 (apparently a lot of similar looking daylilies came out in 2003!)
