Pretty yes ! But still a weed that pops up where it isn't wanted.
I always let some grow for the butterflies and it does look nice in a vase.

Well, I don't think I've seen any growing on my place, but I can't imagine hating it unless it's really aggressive.

I have it and like it but I don't grow my carrots to save the seeds. I hear it can cross with carrots and will produce a thin white useless root. The butterflies love it!

I have always liked it, and can't see as it is much of a bother, although I know there are some people out there who will take you to task for even mentioning it on a wildflower site. It is especially fun for kids when you add a little food coloring to the water.

Our ground is too heavy for it. It is particularly fond of gravel ground and we are very heavy clay loam except in the gardens and along the road sides. The pastures are clipped a couple of times a year or more, so there's very little problem with it seeding.

I love Queen Anne's Lace Smiling I don't have any, but it brings back very pleasant memories of being a little girl in TX and finding it growing out in the fields and pastures. I've always thought it was a beautiful plant.

Hey Charley Momma...IF you think it'll grow in the Florida panhandle (we're inland not on the beach) I would love some. I always loved seeing it growing up in Philly,Pa. Was fun to see what the center color was....purple was my fav Smiling

Ginger, I'm sure the QAL will grow where you are. It grew all the way down in zone 10 only a 1/2 mi. from the ocean. And we know it grows north of you so I don't think you'll have any problems. I think it'll pretty much grow anywhere.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
