Thread OP

I am considering planting Rose Creek Abelia as a loose hedge, but I am not sure if it is evergreen in Zone 8A. Some of the sites say "semi-evergreen" and some "evergreen."
Does anyone have personal experience with this in zone 8a or nearby?
Thanks in advance,
Entlie

Yes, it is evergreen in zone 8a. Here in East Texas, we sell a lot of it at the garden center for that very reason. In the past few years, there has been an explosion of new cultivars of Abelia. It has surpassed most other species as the "must-haves".
