Although the economy is not in the greatest of shapes (to say the least) I will continue to support the growers (and vendors) who have a great passion for the genus lilium. These are most often smaller companies that are scratching out a living with their passion and hard work, can personally answer any question you might have and delight in doing so.

First I will include being involved in your local lily society, if you have one. I am involved in the Pacific Northwest Lily Society, and although I do not live in the Northwest, where it is located, I found a way to be active in it and help with their twice a year mail order bulb sale. I get a chance to get my hands on some great bulbs at great prices from growers. Must pay membership to be included.

Thank you for the list.

I have purchased from The LIly Garden, and The Lily Nook. I'm hoping for Buggy to still be in business this year, so I can get some of her famous lilies. I will check out the other sources.

Anyone else have any great sources, or is that about it?

I think belonging to a Lily Society is really a great way to go. We not only have beautiful bulbs, but we want you to buy more, so we sell them at great prices!

We offered 59 cultivars to our Iowa Regional Lily Society membership last fall including martagons, species, OTs, Asiatics, LAs and more!

Going to Lily Shows & visiting Lily gardens gives you a chance to see which lilies thrive. And I've found some wonderful friends....

Wanda is right. I can't tell you what it means to have a place to go where people don't roll their eyes or fall asleep while you tell them about lilies and how much you love them. These are people that share your interest and often end up as good friends. Besides that, giving back and pitching in feels really good. Plus, you get to share your love of the lilium!

Hello! I have had beautiful bulbs from our favorite BUGGY, like you all. And another supplier provides big, beautiful Lilies at a good price. It is Hallsons. They also send out huge perennials.

Buggy Crazy is by far my favorite, however Faraway Flowers have excellent lilies as well. I like Hallson for their vast selection of miniatures. When thinking quantity, John Scheepers and Brent and Becky.

Polly...AVR took me a minute to figure out. I thought it was some Lily Guru I didn't know about who was telling you a bunch of B & D's lilies were virused...I did figure out it's your computer protection...

I haven't been to their site in a couple weeks. After the NW Flower Show and then doing an actual inventory of my lilies last week, I am trying to stay away from every lily vendor in the Western Hemisphere...at least till I see if someone critical didn't overwinter in the fridge. In which case I will be forced to replace that bulb...LOL

Oh, I am so sorry. No, I certainly don't wish to say their lilies are virused. My anti virus computer control won't let me on the site saying their website is virused. It never did that before. last week, so I hope the website didn't pick up something bad.

I'll have to be more careful what I say on here.

I've had mixed resuts with Buggy Crazy's bulbs. Some have bloomed one summer & rotted (LOs), others are alive and doing well. Some of my species are from BuggyCrazy, too. Could be just the shock of going to my garden.

I love this "Henry's Surprise" she sold me.
