Good day,

We're in the process of finalizing our programs for next years yearbook, due to be published soon.
With the increased interest in Succulents, I was wondering if there is someone at your farm who could come to Lebanon, OR and present our garden club a program about the care and propagation of succulents?

I have three slots available, which would be Monday, January18, 2016; Monday, August 15, 2016; and Monday, October 19, 2016.

We usually have 25 to 30 members attending. Our programs usually are about 20-25 minutes with 10 minutes Q&A afterwards. If this fits into you plans, it would be great. As with all of our guests, you are welcome to bring plants to sell.

Thank you for your consideration. Hope to hear from you soon.

Um Joli, although the owners of All Things Plants do have a farm, this is a gardening forum, not a commercial nursery.

May I suggest your local Master Gardeners might have a speaker for you, who would attend your meeting.

Hi Joli, thanks for dropping in.

Have you posted this to the Pacific Northwest forum? Please do! We be local, there.

You might also post in a specific "plant" forum, this one is for "Cactus and Tender Succulents"

Also see the list of forums, page down to specific plants and look for succulents.

If you want to publicize your activity dates, we have a "Garden Event calendar":

Contacting the local Master Gardener is a good suggestion.

Looking at the ATP members map, there are quite a few members of All Things Plants living not too far from Lebanon...
@valleylynn, @webesemps, @MikeD are some names I recognize.
Perhaps one of them could recommend a local 'expert' who'd be willing to give a talk for your garden club.

Thanks everyone for the references.
Actually I had sent my request to the wrong email, of which I re-sent apologizing. I didn't quite know what this site was before I posted. I will sure tell my gardening friends about this site, it looks very interesting with such wonderful members.

That was sure me in this case. :-)

Happy gardening everyone!

@Joli here is some one that is very good at presenting talks and slide shows to different garden groups.

Cynda Foster from Perennial Obesessions. She is amazing.

Joli, I copied your post over to the PNW forum and the Cactus/Succulent forum as new threads, then one post to the Chat Thread in the Pacific Coastal forum.

Even if no one volunteers to give talk next year, you might get some new members!

Thank you Lynn & Connie, I have already been in contact with Cynda and she is on board! Got all my months scheduled for our programs except for October & someone who knows local Indian history for April.

Also thanks Rick Corey & Greene
