I don't know of many things that can be enjoyed more than picking and eating fresh raw vegetables as you walk through the garden. Green and yellow beans, tomatoes, spinach, raw corn when ripe. You can almost use the garden as you raw salad bowl.
What is your favorite raw vegetable?

Of course tomatoes. But Garden peas are rarely make it into the house, just eaten were they are picked. And I love to eat tender young green beans and Long Beans both. And young okra pods taste divine eaten raw.

Hmmm, never thought you could eat okra and long beans raw... I need to try it next time. I still have some okra seeds pods I saved from last time.

Bean pods are sweet and very tender picked young and eaten raw. I actually like the taste of raw okra better than cooked. Of course for okra, grilled is best.

I had no idea you could eat raw okra! (on the other hand, I've never grown okra...)

I love raw potatoes... they do require a bit of washing, though Hilarious!
And raw bell peppers, especially when they're ripe.

Sandy,
Boy am I glad you posted. I thought I might be the only person in the world who ate raw potatoes.
I love the newer mini potatoes, just pop them in and chew away.

Most of the above, but no one had asparagus. Right now I have a few stalks popping up as the weather cools--not enough for a meal, so automatic garden snack!

Don't think I could handle the slime of the okra to eat it raw, fried is the only way like it, but bread it in cornmeal and fry or crisp, I could eat a tub full! The green beans, yes I think I could. Love the sugar snap peas.
