Results of research:
"In the snapdragon bloom yellow flowers, from the cream of the dye that chalcone, we have found that you are combining a yellow dye aurones by two of the function of the gene of chalcone glycosyltransferase gene and aurone synthetic gene. So, we introduced these two genes from snapdragon in the morning glory. In the experiment, we used the morning glory "54Y system" that generates a dye chalcone cream. This line of flowers, there is a feature that the petal is likely to shrink without opening clean.
The results of the experiment, as well as snapdragon, yellow dye aurone are synthesized in the petals of the morning glory, yellow morning glory reblogged flowering. In addition, shrinkage of petals that have been seen in "54Y system" has improved, I now clean flowering.

That one is Ipomoea obscura and is cultivar 'Ethiopia'.

There is another cultivar, 'Keniaki', that has white tube base instead of maroon red tube base.
